Shoulder joint pain
Shoulder joint pain is a discomfort that almost every person encounters during life, due to the fact that we use the upper limb constantly for both manipulation and physical work. Pain in this part of the body can be very diverse, as well as their treatment. We can divide these difficulties between so-called structural and functional. In the first case, there was some tissue damage, for example, one of the ligaments or even a tendon in the joint capsule was torn, as is often the case with athletes. In the second case, the pain has a rather functional origin, i.e. the damage has not yet occurred, but the pain is heard as a warning signal of impending damage. Such pain occurs due to chronic imbalances and overloading of certain muscles. Very often, shoulder pain occurs in patients when they try to raise their arm up to their head to stretch out for something or put an object on a high shelf. Typically, they will feel pain just when the upper limb is still just below the horizontal. These pains occur due to prolonged overloading. Due to the development of difficulties, it is not good to pass shoulder pain, because almost certainly over time from a purely functional pain will become a structural problem. With targeted physiotherapy, shoulder joint pain can be eliminated quite quickly. Sometimes it is enough to free a distant place and the pain disappears. For example, straightening and mobilizing the thoracic spine or mobilizing blocked ribs works very well, and the shoulder can move more easily right away. Very effective in this is the method of dynamic neuromuscular stabilization and manipulation treatment techniques.
